Event Description:  USA and CSA are in trench warfare along the Mason-Dixon front during Harry Turtledove's version of the Great War.  British Foreign Minister Churchill sends a telegram to Maximillian II, emperor of Mexicans, offering California and New Mexico if he will launch an attack on that flank.  British and Japanese naval troops will support.  Will the stretched Federal troops in that area be able to hold out until some German reinforcements s can arrive via Zeppelin?
