Event Description: West of the Rhine. US troops have broken through the front and are pushing down the west bank of the Rhine. German forces are attempting to withdraw despite orders of "no retreat". A US armored unit has taken a bridge in the sector of the 116th Panzer Division and is rushing reinforcements to that area. Meanwhile, the 116th Panzer is gathering what forces are available in the area. The bridge is a vital crossing point, allowing the Germans to withdraw across the Rhine. NOTE: This game will run into the second gaming session.
