Sieges at Alnwick

December 13th, 1093 - July, 1174

In this first replay, history repeated itself as the Anglo-Norman envoy Hammond

struck Malcolm III (Canmore) down.  From then on the Scots were on the defensive,

trying to retreat North back over the river Aln and the safety of the Scottish glens.
