"Check Your Six!" - World War II Air Combat

Battlefields, 2008 will be hosting the first of many future "Check Your Six!" tournaments. Come and be one of the first to gain legendary pilot status........................... The tournament will go like this. Three different scenarios form the CY6! rule book will be run concurrently three times. Each of these three "mini session" scenario sets will run about 2 hours each for a total of about 6 hours straight of gaming. The three scenarios are table 1, Thunderbolts Over Normandy, table 2, Old Crow and table 3, Wulf Against Lightning. The tournament is for 12 players; 6 American and 6 German. 2 players for each side will be at each table. They can't switch sides, but must play the side they choose. Since the three games will run repeated 3 times at each table, the players will move from table to table to table until they have completed all three scenarios. We will also ignore the aircrew skill written in the scenarios in the book – each player gets 1x +2 veteran, 1x +1 skilled, 4x +0 green aircrew – these aircrew can be used in any scenario but only once ever in the tourney. The guy with the most VP at the end of the tourney is the big winner then there are sub-winners for each nation. Prizes include: Overall winner will receive 6 hand painted B17s, 2nd place will receive 1st choice of 4 hand painted fighters (US or German), 3rd place will receive 2nd choice of 4 hand painted fighters.
